Thank you guys for all your support! It means so much to me, I'm so behind on everything this week, having to play catch up from last week, where I basically let everything left undone while I threw myself a really LONG pity party.

@Annette - Thank you! I'm glad last week is over! but I guess everything happens for a reason

@Ciella - Thank you, things are looking brighter already!

@Christian - Thank you!

@B - Thanks so much for the kind words, I'm glad you went to an alopecia support meeting, and got to meet some really strong women. It is so helpful to surround ourselves with people who truly understand what we are going through. I never really fully understood what a amazingly positive impact a support group or site could be prior to the WHLP. Now I get it, I get the healing that it can provide once we can begin to share and relate with one another. To be understood.

@Lina - Yes, another glass of wine… Check! and Check! Thank you for all your words of encouragement! You are so strong, and your road was long, and I'm am beyond thrilled that you now have moved onto wig-landia and found that while not perfect, that it can be life changing.

@JAN SCOTT - You are so sweet! thank you. I'm so glad you got yourself a wig and are doing better now emotionally in dealing with your hair loss. It's hard to get to that point where we accept wearing hair, but for anyone else reading this.. I promise you if you can mentally accept it, it IS such a beautiful thing. I've made my peace with wearing hair, I just wonder why I didn't do it before :)

@Intheresomewhere - Thank you!

Hugs and Love To All!

XOXO

Evening, You are our Hero!! our Leader!! our Mentor!! My shedding has really slow down and you know what a relief that is!! I have come to the conclusion that I am a seasonal shedder. It doesn't occur every year, just most years. I am now 63 and first had this happen when I was 27. I have been able to read from other gals on this site who have seasonal hair loss,this has helped me to deal! This summer I bought a wig and did wear it often,so thanks to you my life was much easier!! I look forward to your posts, you are so wonderful and sweet to involve all of us out here with your journey... Thank you so much, Jan

Hi Y!
First, I am so happy that you are feeling much better :-)
It is just another reminder how many steps forward, how we can stumble so quickly. I believe the nature of this HLBS will always have stumbles for me, but through you and others on this site, I am in such a better place - I literally wanted to die because of my hair, I thought I could not have a good life or be valued - boy - so wrong! So, to another victory, another step, another challenge, another acceptance, another day of life and another glass of wine :-)

Yay!! You are so inspiring and I am glad the the dark cloud has lifted. Thanks for the reminder. I think it is important to remember that. We are all so super strong if we let ourselves be. I went to an Alopecia meeting last week with a whole room of strong ladies that had it far worse than me and they were trooping on thru. It is good to have positive role models and there are so few out there yet so many suffering with this. Thanks for doing what you do even though you don't have to. Sending happy thoughts your way!
