Hi Y and all you ladies out there. My question is how do you keep your wig down in the back and snug to the back of your head? My head is rather flat in the back and wigs, hair bands etc ride up and look very wiggy. Thank you.

I am an Spanish girl who has Alopecia Totalis. I lost my wig the other day and I couldn’t find it… it is worse than loosing your glasses!!

REALLY like that sentence, Y – JUST LIKE REAL HAIR – I remember when I had MY hair and “some days” were better than others, too… I HOPE HOPE to be where you are someday!!! I just want to FORGET about this – with so many other things on my plate – HL, should NOT be one of them!!!

@Janet – I know the feeling of missing the pony, give it a shot, I made it a little higher in this pic, but the super low ones are even easier to pull off

@Nookum – Yes, this is a Follea, it’s my Aero-2, the one I named Mila 🙂 She was a lighter color before but I had her colored not too long ago: http://www.womenshairlossproject.com/wigs/milas-follea-aero-2-makeover/ The highlights were there originally from when I got her, and when it was colored, it was just a solid color put over the already highlighted hair which maintained those highlights (albeit darker highlights now).

@Bonnie – Thank you! Messy ponies are great! I tug on mine too sometimes to yank out hairs or make it lower. I think you could wear the “neat” pony because you have the nape wispies, which will make it look even better. I may eventually get some of those too : ) Snap the selflies!

Love the pony pics! you look great. I usually wear my hair on the messier side and my ponytail is definitely into the realm of the bedhead ponytail. I honestly didn’t think I would be able to wear it in a ponytail as neat as this! but just last week I started thinking about it. Haven’t tried it yet but now you have inspired me. 🙂 I currently feel like I’m having a small issue with the straps and hooks back there so maybe I’ll snap some selfies and see what I can see.
