Just came across this site and I am so glad that I did. I just turned 26 and I have lost about half of my hair in the past 6 months. I have seen so many specialists; no one can pinpoint a cause. I’ve tried so many things – pills, supplements, topical solutions to no avail – and have been horribly depressed about it for a while now. But it is great to know that there is still a future ahead and your hair looks beautiful. YOU are inspiring and thank you for telling your story.

It is comforting to read about the mature way you are dealing with this hair
loss situation . I am praying that my diagnosis allows for treatment.
I do not know how I will afford a high quality wig.

hi does anyone live in Calif. near Norwalk , I would love to meet for lunch or just talk in person. This website is so nice to read always ,but to have a person close by to talk with or just go and look for new ways to deal with our hair loss would be great. So can this be done??? I hope so. Or maybe just to talk to on the phone , could u let me know this? Our family really doesnt know how to understand how we feel so it would be so nice to meet someone like us. Maybe even go to Follea.

Would you recommend having the CRP treatments, did it work ? I’ve had one appointment with Dr. Grecco, hes very nice. The shedding has slowed down, but I was hoping for regrowth. Have you had success with regrowth?

Wow, Y, you guys both look soooo amazing!! I wish I could afford to do this, unfortunately I can only afford one very high quality wig every year or so. 🙁 And to get my hands on a Follea? Heaven sent!

I started lurking/slowly posting here right around your “screw it, had enough” phase and watched and learned from you through your posts and videos. It’s amazing how a person can be in such an entirely different place than where you were before.

I didn’t start wearing wigs until 2014, but you and Lina were my inspiration. And now I’ve got the “never look back” attitude as well. Even if someone made a magic wand to grow all my hair back….my bio hair was never all that anyway.

This campaign sounds like a brilliant idea! Except maybe think about the color, if you’re doing pink wigs everyone will think it’s for breast cancer awareness. Or maybe not, just putting it out there.

I’m sure it’ll end up fabulous like everything you do!! Thank you for changing lives and just being YOU. 🙂
