What a wonderful source! I have purchased my first wig, after years of extensions. I am also noticing some hair lightening, after just three months of wear. (I only have one wig). I read also that you, like myself may have over washed your first wig. I made the same mistake and washed it once a week in the first month. It has lost some luster. Could you recover your wig, or did you just move on to the next wig? How long do you wigs typically last for you?

I know you are bombarded with questions! I feel crazy to even ask!

Thank you,

Have been researching European Human Hear wigs due to loss of 80% of my hair from chemotherapy. I was leaning toward the Freeda line and getting one of their discontinued wigs, but thought I'd ask your thoughts on Freeda wigs. The Follea wig in your video is gorgeous. Assuming Follea is the best out there but very expensive. Just wondering how the Freeda compares.
Thanks

Hi, I just watched your video and it is so nice to find that other women suffer from thinning hair as I do. I have been fighting the battle for 7.5 years. I can relate to everything I have read so far...that in and of itself makes me feel better. Sometimes I feel so alone in this battle. My husband is so supportive, for which I am thankful, but there are still lots and lots of tears and anguish. I plan to follow this site and hope to learn all I can about wearing wigs. I truly cannot imagine doing that...I worry what will I do at night, or if I am at someone else's house overnight and on and on and on. I pray this will be the place to help me come to some sort of peace about it and get on with my life! I miss so much because I worry someone will see how I am slowly balding! Life is too short to let it pass me by, because of my hair. I'm so tired of using Joan Rivers fill in powder, it would be so freeing to be able to trash it! I hope I can learn the ropes of wearing a wig and it feeling natural and looking natural. I've never owned one, no nothing about what is available, etc., so I have a lot to learn. I don't even know what Follea is, other than I think you get wigs there? lol I hope they can still help you if you live where there is no Follea shop. Thank you for the video, I think you look beautiful... and it made me smile:)

@Bonnie - Yay for color! :)

@Angie T - Thank you so much!

@Linda - Wow, congrats on your major breakthrough and realization that life is so much more than our hair! That is so awesome! And of course congrats on your Follea hair baby purchase! Your "problem" is what I like to call a "High class problem" LOL too many hair compliments? Yes please. I know that fraud feeling, but we shouldn't feel that way it IS our hair, I have the receipt to prove it. What wig? ;) I do share about my wig wearing on a case by case basis and when it's feels right and I feel comfortable with it, and it has always been quite liberating to do so. But I don't do it all the time. Congats again!

@Lynda - Yep you can dye wigs, I guess the outcome will depend on the the quality of hair at the start and the skill of the person doing the coloring. :)

@Katsa - Thank you! I didn't feel that my hair lightened up unevenly, it was more of an all over thing. Mila needed the total overall color, but I think on my lifestyles what I may end up doing is low lights to bring some warmth to it. People dye their hair all sorts of colors and it's highly doubtful that anyone past the age of 25 is sporting their own color, yes I know that some women do, but most color their hair for whatever reason. I was coloring my hair fire engine red at 18 and had I never lost my hair I'm certain I probably would have done highlights or whatever just like everyone else. My natural color? No. My hair ? Why yes of course, wanna see the receipt? What salon do I go to for my hair? Oh, some place in Beverly Hills. LOL

Love to All!
XOXO

Thanks so much for this posting! The color is fabulous. I've been feeling like my Follea Lifestyle is lightening up pretty rapidly so I am grateful to see a successful color story. The wig is just getting to red and brassy for me. And it's not lightening up evenly. Did this happen to you?
Although I do get compliments on the color--people ask me if it's natural. Um, no. :)

Linda--I totally feel you. As soon as I bought my Follea, I gave the heave-ho to the spironolactone and the Nioxin shampoo. Goodbye! I'm not going to fight this losing battle anymore. I'll save my money for pretty hair that I've always wanted. Even if I could preserve every last hair on my head five years ago--that would still not be good enough.

As always, this website has given me my life back. Thanks so much!

Your "girl" looks amazing. The color is beautiful. I purchased my first Follea February 1st after wearing synthetic hair for 4 years.
After reading your posts, I decided to let go of trying. Trying to grow back my bio hair. I was using propecia, aldactone, nioxin, rogaine and latisse drops. All in hopes of a few extra strands or at least not to lose what I had, which is not much. Nothing was doing the job. I still had the same thin, balding head of hair that I would never step foot outside of my house with. I made the decision to let 2013 be the year that I was going to let go of obsessing over my hair and constantly crying and being sad and angry every time I thought about it. After all, we are all more than just hair. I am a good mother, wife, friend and person. So I have crappy hair, it is what it is. Do I have days that I still cry and wish I could make this all stop, you bet, but my hair is never going to grow back, I know that for sure. Istopped taking all of these medications and got my gorgeous Follea hair.
I have never felt so confident and "normal" since wearing my Follea. Now my only problem is dealing with people constatly complimenting me and asking who does my hair. To be honest, I hate it because I feel like I am a "Fraud" and I am being complimented on something that is not really mine. But I guess its better than always having people stare at my scalp and ask if I was sick. My new hair has improved my self confidence beyond words. I want to thank you for introducing this solution to me and for all of the hope you have given to me. In addition, thank you to the wonderful women who post on this site and make me realize that I am not alone in this horrible hair loss journey.
