Hi,
I have been doing research on PRP too since I suffer from hair loss as well. Approximately how much does a treatment cost? Is this something that insurance would cover?

HI,

I also have been dealing with hairloss for many years. I am 44 years old and it maddens me EVERY day!! I don't have the money at all for these treatments and can't believe something hasn't come out on the market that simply grows hair for REAL.

I will follow the results of the PRP and if its working perhaps somehow someday I COULD afford to try it. Being a single mom it really depresses me and I don't even want to date because who the heck wants a woman with a balding head!!

Hoping to receive an invite code too, so I can see blogs and maybe start my own.
This site is a source of comfort and info for me and I'm grateful to all the women sharing their stories!

I am not sure if this will be helpful or not but it cannot hurt. I have struggled with whether or not to even post anything. My heart is in the right place here and I only mean to give an additional suggestion and to share what has helped my daughter. Maybe you all have already been this route, I do not know. My daughter has had hair loss that began in college - she is now 35 years old. She tried everything including laser hair therapy etc. I know she spent $5,000 just on that alone and it gave her zero results. Heartbreaking for sure! She has went through everything that I read everyone else is going through and has gone through. She also believes in doing everything the natural way and has done literally hours upon hours of research to find the root cause and how to fix it naturally - with the hope of, if nothing else, just halting the hair loss and living without thick beautiful hair. She always knew there were underlying physical causes for the hair loss but did not know how to help it. Her research always brought her back to the same result - reducing inflammation and detoxing her body. So, she discovered that the research needed to be geared toward body detoxing & inflammation etc. and not hair loss because the detox usually leads to helping the hair loss. Body detoxing is such hard work - especially when you have a job to go to every day and/or you have small children. Plus, if you live on this planet, you need to detox your body! But, she persevered in her research and detoxing and eventually, her hair loss slowed dramatically. Recently, further research has lead her to a daily dose of a product that consists mainly of silica, which is very good for your hair and skin. She is getting good results from this. So, my suggestion is, if all else fails, try to do some research on body detoxing and inflammation. This is an individual and personal decision based upon your own research. I know a lot of people feel that body detoxing is bogus. It is much more than just taking vitamins and minerals. I have no idea if what helped my daughter will help you. But, you never know, it may help you too!
I wish you all the best!
