I have noticed that hair loss salons can be helpful but their wigs cost hundreds of dollars. Same with wig stores in the mall.

I have found good quality wigs at the braiding salons away from the mall--in urban areas. Alot of women do have wigs, extensions, weaves etc and seek out these salons and stores for their accessories. You can get everything from a cheap $20 wig to a $100 or so human hair wig. They have pony tails. Expert stylists who can work with your situation. And best of all you will be around other women buying synthetic hair and it's not such a big deal.

If you need privacy you can also order wigs from online catalogs.

I have been losing my hair on top since I was 14 yrs. old. I still have hair around the sides and some on top. I am now 53 yrs. old and have tried different therapies. I have female pattern baldness.

Is it too late for me to go on spironlactone, 5% Rogain, and Nizoral shampoo. I was also going to go on Swiss Herbal HRT which years ago used to help regulate my periods. I went on this site and they recommended 5% Rogain, Spironlactone, and Nizoral shampoo as a therapy for women. They also mentioned some other products like Reviogen, the Hair Max Laser comb, Hormone Replacement Therapy.

any feedback would be great
