Unknowingly, about eight years ago, my hair loss journey began. My hair over the years was shedding more frequently but really wasn’t all that noticeable until three years ago. Much like you, I had a ton of Victoria Secret beautiful hair so loosing a lot of it wasn’t really noticeable to anyone else but me. Last November my scalp started burning and became sensitive and hasn’t stopped since. At that time my hair started to miniaturize a lot and I believe I also had a significant bout of Telogen Effluvium. It took forever for me to get a diagnosis of diffuse androgenetic alopecia 5 months ago. Heartbreaking, devastating, couldn’t begin to think about living through this! I’m in the beginning stages of all of it. I would like to start to wear wigs even though I still have enough hair to look “normal”, but the hair texture is like cotton candy. I still have so much to learn about wigs. You have helped me so much. The way you process things and speak about your journey is so much like me. I have listened to your videos over and over whenever I feel terrified and overwhelmed (which is a lot).. I had my mom and sister watch some of your videos so they could have a better understanding of what I am going through. God has given you the gift to describe so perfectly the pain and suffering associated with hair loss. I can’t stress enough what a blessing you are to me. You are a hair loss angel. THANK YOU!!!!!!
