Y,
I think your wigs are making ME fat 🙂
Wig Washing I and II – I ate right out of a tub of strawberry shortcake icecream – both nights while watching your videos, and, I don’t even eat icecream!
Thank you so much for sharing. I better clear out the freezer before the next installment.
big hug your way and as usual some love for the pets.

Thank you so much for your videos. I’ve had alopecia areata for two years and don’t know how much longer I’ll have hair. I, like you was completely adverse to the idea of wearing wigs but watching your videos made me realize they might not be so bad after all. You are my inspiration !!!
I’ve been looking at follea wigs and feel they would be the best ones for me. How many follea wigs do you have? How long does follea generally take to get a wig ready to wear? How often do you wash your wigs? Do you think they would give a discount if I buy more than one wig? Sorry for all the questions…lol

@Lina – OMG you’re so funny! I do that eat and watch videos, it’s fun! See it’s good I broke the video up otherwise you would have ate the whole tub in one sitting 🙂 Next video coming up soon…

@Nookum – I’m so glad you are getting inspiration from the videos! yay! I’m hoping they help women to know that wigs area real possibility and as in my case, can be a life changing enhancement.I have 3 Follea wigs, 2 Lifestyle ones (medium and long) and then one long Aero-2 lacefront, I choose the same color for all of them. I’m not sure what you mean by how long does Follea take to get a wig ready to wear, do you mean how long will it take for them to make it? I don’t know the answer to the question about whether or not you would get a discount if you purchased multiple ones. I think most of their product is sold through the retailers that carry their line in their hair replacement salons and that is something that probably would have to be addressed to that particular individual salon. My wig washing schedule is a bit thrown off now because I have 3 of them and alternate between them, it’s hard to nail down the time I’m taking between each one to wash them, but when I got my first one I was washing it way more than prescribed because it helped me to accept the hair more when it smelled like I just got out of the shower and washed it that day. So in the beginning I was washing it like twice a week, then once a week, and now I think I’m at the 2 weekish wash cycle with all of them.

XOXO

One more question. What kind of front is it? It just seems so noticeable! I always thought the lace front wigs where the best?

@Mycurlyhair – Did you mean unnoticeable? or actually noticeable ? You sure know how to give a girl a complex! LOL

This isn’t a lacefront, The Aero-2 wig I have is a lacefront though. I don’t know what kind of front this wig is, “regular”? It’s a regular wig type front only it sits quite flat at the hairline unlike some of my other wigs.

Lifestyle and Aero-2 wigs are also from Follea, right? Which of your wigs are the most comfortable to wear? You also have wigs from Milano?

I love your videos, not only because they are informative (which they are!) but also because I watch these and think, wig wearing is okay! I don’t have to be afraid of it (which I have been, still working on that). I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself well enough, but each of your posts make me feel less anxious about the thought of wearing hair, since you’re so happy yet matter of fact and relaxed about it yourself. Thanks and keep them coming, please! 🙂

@Nookum – Yes the Lifestyle and Aero-2 are wigs from Follea. Overall I think the Lifestyle wigs are the most comfortable because they are all hand-tied. The Aero-2 does have a very conforming cap though, a bit of stretch at the back that technically makes it cradle your head at the nape better, but even so I do prefer the Lifestyle if I was forced to choose 🙂 I do have 2 wigs from Milano, yes and also one from Freeda.

@avery – Thank you for your comment, those comments reassure me that people want to see these kinds of videos and that I’m not maybe boring the crap out of you all LOL, at least not everyone 🙂 Your comment is on the mark of what I hoped the videos *could* maybe do, so much thanks.

@Mycurlyhair – I knew what you meant, ha ha. It was funny. I said to my fiancé, “a girl on the WHLP said my wig is noticeable” he started laughing 🙂

XOXO

At some point, can you discss the different types of wigs, caps, hand tied, lace, etc. and show us each one? It is so confusing and it’s a language all it’s own. Thanks. Oh, BTW, back from that cicaticial alopecia conference and was shocked as to the myriads of alopecias. No ‘cure’ as yet, but they discussed treatments, tricks and tips for the stages of alopecia, frontal and central slerosing, scarring, how bx are done, etc.

I also would like to see the difference in the caps. What is the difference in wearing a lace or regular cap?
