Hey, I've been using the product over the past couple of years. My hairdresser has commented how my hair is much healthier and how I can grow it longer now without it looking like straw. However, the price of $90 is pretty high. I contacted the company and was going to cancel even though I didn't want to...they told me that since I have been a customer for so long. They could continue to ship me at 1/2 price. That's $44.95 and for me it lasts about 3 months...I think that is pretty good.

I have used the products now for several months. I'm not crazy about the shampoo, it leaves my hair very tangled (which my hair has a tendency to do).
Even the conditioner doesn't detangle as much as I need -- but since my hair loss is in 1 spot, on the very top front of my head, I put their condition there & massage it in - it has peppermint, I think, & tingle & feel really good - & I use pantene volume conditioner on the rest. (I also use pantene volume shampoo, as far as I'm concerned pantene makes some of the best drugstore products). The OOKISA MOUSSE if wonderful. It really does make your hair look full, & it holds w/out being super sticky. Also, I use the serum almost every night - it tingles a bit, but I kind of like it. Has it made new hair grow? No, I don't think so. But I no longer seem to be finding stray hairs all over my pillow, my clothes, in the shower, etc. Also, I took use Toppik (I'm kind of obsessive about anyone seeing my scalp), but I use the serum at night also. I just kind of masssge it in w/ my fingers, & I only use it on the area I need. I find that as long as I massage it in & spread it around w/ my fingers, it doesn't really make a huge mess at all - not anything like minoxidil did when I tried it, which was disgustingly sticky & burned my scalp.

About a year ago, after grappling at straws with hair loss, I took the bite and ordered the "trial" shampoo, conditioner and serum. I used the trio for one month and cancelled future orders. I guess I didn't have a problem with added exspence because the cancellation was withing the allot time. I didn't cancell because the product didn't work or seem to work, I cancelled because it was just do bloody exspensive. I have allot of hair but it is so baby fine and with age, yes it is getting finer and I see more hair being lost when I comb. I started out using the product every other day and the serum at night and I did notice that within two weeks, there was a change. Less hair on my comb, and it looked healthier. My problem is, " your product is just too damned exspensive". Unless you are someone who can burn money hand over fist, it is very difficlut to afford. Perhaps the company that makes this product should keep this in mind, when they have their next sales/production/profit meeting. As for the product itself, I think it helped; maybe not cured the loss of hair, but it helped lessen the loss.

Last summer I took a trip to St. Louis, MO. I was not looking forward to the humidity there. I took a trip to Sephora and asked one of the sales girls for a suggestion on shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair,
Immediately she suggested Shielo Hydrate Conditioner. She assured me that this product would work! I took her advice and bought the shampoo and also the Shielo Antioxidant Leave in Protector she suggested. I have to say Shielo products worked so well I now use them everyday! My hair did not get frizzy at all and stayed styled and was super shinny! My hair is fine and has some curl to it. It takes the frizz out and gives body.

Go to google and type in OOkisa reviews and you'll see what s SCAM this is. As soon as I ordered this morning, I knew I should have checked reviews so as soon as the conformation came in, I e-mailed them back (within 10 minutes) and told them to cancel the Free sample. I told them why. Then I called AE and ask them what I could do. They said the charge already came in but that they could put a block on my CC so that Okisa could not charge anything in the future. You might try that.

I read these posts and felt compelled to write. I went to the dermatologist about 2 years ago, concerned about thinning hair. She ordered me spironolactone. It is a water pill/ I have to get my blood checked twice a year to make sure my potassium isn't too high, which I've never had a problem with, and when I first started taking it my blood pressure did drop a bit-because it is a water pill. But it has worked. Something about blocking hormones or something like that. I also had quite the problem with ingrown facila hair and that has stopped completely. It has to be prescribed from your dr and I'm sure it isn't right for everyone. But if you really are concerned with it-check with your dr. and see if it can help you.

DON'T TOUCH THIS COMPANY!!!
after reading all the bad reviews, I spent some time and tried to find more info online about this company. so I type in the company address which shows on ookisa website- In fact there's another teeth whitening ads rip-offs, and eyeglasses, and all others... It seems like when one is exposed, they pop up under a different name.
The scam artist behind it(Jesse Willms) operates as JDW Media, LLC with a variety of addresses including this one(ookisa):
5300 Ontario Mills Parkway Unit 400
Ontario, CA 91764

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2011/05/jessewillms.shtm
FTC Charges Online Marketers with Scamming Consumers out of Hundreds of Millions of Dollars with 'Free' Trial Offers
"According to the FTC, Willms and his companies obtained consumers’ credit or debit card account numbers, by enticing them with bogus “free” or “risk-free” trial offers that supposedly required only small shipping and handling fees, and also promised phony “bonus” offers just for signing up. Consumers had no reason to believe they would be charged for the trial product or the extra bonus products, but they were often charged for the “free” trial plus a monthly recurring fee, typically $79.95. Consumers were also charged monthly recurring fees for the so-called bonus offers. Although the defendants offered a money-back guarantee, consumers were often unsuccessful in canceling the charges or obtaining refunds, and the process involved time-consuming phone calls and other steps that made the deals far from risk-free, the FTC complaint alleged."

ladies, use google search, type in the company address- you'll be shocking to find out the real truth- " is ookisa a scam?"

I have thin silky hair by nature. I have found the best way to thicken it up is to be nice to it and take hair nutrients, like silica formulas. I can see with the Ookisa product the best result is achieved by taking a person who has abused their hair, and giving them a way to treat it well. Of course that works. A good admonishment from a hairdresser would work equally as well. I mean, this is like taking a group of people who haven't been flossing and showing them how flossing can keep their teeth cleaner and whiter longer.

I don't feel the need to thicken my hair. Mostly I was stricken by the ridiculousness of an Ookisa ad that just popped up on my Yahoo screen and I had to comment. It had before pictures of people with semi-greasy hair from the back view - most of the hair was pulled to the front and a comb was used to show a line of exposed scalp. In the after photos it looks like the hair has been freshly colored, fluffed up with a blow dry and mousse, all the hair is combed to the back and no hair is put to the front. What a joke. I would not be duped into this in a million years.

Hi there! I, too, was somewhat sceptical about this offer. I, too, questioned the price. I was very interested in the claim, and though I have not had a big problem with thinning or falling hair, I am getting older and want to keep the volume of hair that I have. I ordered the free trial and then did not use the product for a year. I was only charged once but I called to cancel future shipments.

When I finally picked up the product to use it after running out of my Wen, I noticed that my hair seemed calm and satisfied. I have mixed ethnic hair, about five different textures, but ALL of my hair seemed to enjoy the shampoo and conditioner. I have used the product now for the fourth time. I am finding that I do not need to follow up with any styling product or leave in daily moisturizer as I used to. My hair has an excellent texture and shine, and it even seems the grays are not as noticeable!

I must admit, getting this product on the internet made me a little leary, but it has paid off... I wonder if the company will ever come down in price or if there is another place I can get it cheaper... But, I like this product.
